The Gijima Mzongwana Youth Development (GMYD) Foundation has taken a bold step: to align every program, partnership, and project with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals are not just distant ambitions written on paper; they are a roadmap to a better world and GMYD is working to bring that world closer to home, starting with our communities.

🌱 Why the SDGs Matter to GMYD

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to end poverty, protect the environment, and ensure peace and prosperity for all by 2030. But for GMYD, they are much more than just targets. They are a blueprint for real, lasting change, especially in underdeveloped and rural areas where young people often lack access to the resources they need to succeed.
